CHATPAT – MUTTON

CHATPAT – MUTTON BY ASHIT
Easy to make and Delicious to taste

INGREDIENTS
Mutton 300 grams Onion 2 large (chopped) Garlic 12-15 cloves (chopped) (Remember Garlic is the Heart of this recipe)

Bay leaf 1 Black pepper (Whole) 1½ tablespoon Brown cardamoms 4 pieces Cloves 6 piece Cinnamon stick a little piece Sugar ½ teaspoon Red chili powder 1 tablespoon or as desired Salt to taste Mustered / Veg. Oil 3 tablespoon

Method
Wash the mutton thoroughly, Heat the oil in a pressure cooker, add sugar fry for 10 seconds, add bay leaf, brown cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon stick & black peppers fry them genteelly, add chopped onions and continue stirring well, after 5 minutes add chopped garlic and stirring for several minutes till the onions become dark golden brown in colour,

add mutton pieces, Red chili powder and salt mix them well, add water close the cookers cap, after 5 or 6 whistle, remove the cap of the cooker if the mutton is boiled up-to 85%, start stirring well in high flame, reduce the water until the oil will not come out remember spices do not stuck to the bottom of the cooker, add 1½ or 2 cups of water, for gravy, stir them together till the mixture becomes semi dried and well cooked, mutton curry is ready to eat. (you can add more water if needed) Garnish with onion rings and Green chilies.
