CHEESE STRAWS

Cheese and mustard flavored bakes straws.

Recipe Ingredients :
 
Flour - 115 Gms
Mustard Powder – 1 tsp
Salt – a pinch
Processed Cheese – 75 Gms (Grated)
Butter – 115 Gms
Cayenne Pepper – a pinch
Water – 2 tbsp
Egg – 1 (Beaten)
Poopy Seeds/ Sesame Seeds – to garnish
 
Recipe Method :
Sift the flour, salt & mustard powder in a bowl.
Rub in butter with fingertips until a coarse texture like breadcrumbs is developed.
Stir in cheese & cayenne pepper and sprinkle water on it.
Add ½ the beaten egg, mix to a firm dough & knead lightly until smooth.
Roll out on floured surface, cut into strips (10 cm long & 5 mm wide). Sprinkle garnish seeds.
Twist these straws with light hands. Brush with remaining egg lightly.
Bake at 200 Degree C for 9-12 mins., until golden brown.
