Farfalle in Mushroom Sauce

The smooth creamy mushroom sauce perfectly complements the beautiful bow shaped pasta.

Preparation time: 15mins.
Cooking time: 20mins
Serves: 4
 
Recipe Ingredients:
 
200g farfalle pasta
200g cream
2oog mushrooms sliced
1 medium white onion finely chopped
5-6 garlic cloves finely chopped
½ tsp oregano
Salt
Pepper
2tbsp Olive oil
 
 
Recipe Method:
 
Cook the pasta in a large pan of salted water but remove al dante.
Heat the olive oil and sauté finely chopped onions till translucent. Add the garlic and sauté for 1minute. Add sliced mushrooms and cook for 3-4 mins till the mushrooms sweat. Add the cream and simmer for 3-4 mins. Add the cooked pasta, salt, pepper, oregano and cook for another minute. Serve hot.
