Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 10-12 minutes
5 green cardamoms
1 cinnamon stick
½ tsp black peppercorns
2 tsp tea
4 tsp sugar
1 tsp dry ginger powder
1 cup milk
1 tsp grated ginger
4 cups water
Grind all the masalas.
Remove the cardamom shells and grind again.
Take 4 cups water in a pan and boil it.
Add the tea leaves and chai masala.
Add sugar and allow it to boil for 4-5 minutes.
Now add the dry ginger powder and milk and boil once more.
Remove from fire and grate in some fresh ginger. Cover the tea and allow it to simmer some more for 3-4 minutes.
