» Aloo Samosa
Potato stuffed crispy triangles.

» Banana & Walnut Loaf Cake
Banana bread is best served warm from the oven, cut in thick slices and spread with butter. The addition of Walnuts gives this cake a lovely texture but you can substitute any nuts you prefer-pistachios or hazelnuts also work well.

» Sweet and Sour Onions
A continental side dish of whole onions.

» Curd Rice
Rice with curd and tempered with curry leaves and mustard seeds.

» Dal keema (Indian mince with lentils) and fresh tomato salad.
Inspired from the Hyderabadi Heleem (meat cooked with lentils and porridge over slow fire for hours), this is a much simpler, quicker, easier recipe.
