To appeal to the vegetarians, here’s a vegetarian kebab recipe.
Preparation time : 35 minutes Cooking time: 15 minutes Serves: 2 Recipe Ingredients
1 large Carrot, diced
100g French beans, diced
100g Blanched green peas
50g Cauliflower florets
200g Potatoes, boiled and peeled
2 Green chilies finely chopped
3 ½ tbsp. Roasted gram powder
2tsp Roasted cumin powder
½ tsp Cardmon powder
1 tsp Chat masala
2 tsp Salt
½ cup Oil for deep frying
Blanch all the vegetables, except the potatoes and process them together coarsely in a blender place in a piece of muslin and squeeze gently to remove excess water.
Mash the boiled potatoes and mixed together with the processed vegetables.
Add the green chilies, ginger, roasted gram powder, roasted cumin powder, cardamom powder, chaat masala and salt.
Add the rest to the vegetable mixture and mix well adjust seasoning.
Shape the mixture into small patties.
Heat the oil in kadai and deep fry the patties till golden brown remove and drain on absorbent paper.
