Tofu Palak ke Baked Kofte

A healthy low calorie tofu & spinach dumpling in curry base.

Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Serves: 4
Recipe Ingredients:
½ cup boiled spinach 
½ cup grated tofu 
1 tbsp roasted gram flour 
Salt to taste
½ tsp black pepper powder 
1+1 tsp oil 
½ tsp turmeric powder 
1 tbsp coriander powder 
1 tsp red chilli powder 
½ tsp garam masala powder 
½ tsp cumin  
3 tsp boiled onion paste 
4 tbsp tomato puree 
Salt to taste
Recipe Method:
Take boiled chopped spinach in a bowl and add grated tofu, roasted gramflour, salt and black pepper. Mix all ingredients and make walnut sized balls out of them.
Place them into a baking tray. Drizzle a little oil over the koftas and bake for 10 minutes at 180 degrees.
 
Take turmeric powder in a bowl. Add coriander powder, red chillies and garam masala with a little
 water and make a paste out of it.
 
Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. When the cumin seeds splutter, add the masala paste.
Cook for 2-3 minutes at low flame till the masalas are cooked.
Now add boiled onion paste and the tomato puree.
 Mix well till tomato puree blends with other ingredients.
Add a cup of water and salt and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to allow the sauce to simmer and add
baked koftas to gravy.  Cook for 4-5 minutes and serve hot garnished with chopped coriander.
